Children wear a uniform; this can be bought, with the school emblem, at Firth’s (Whittaker’s Schoolwear) in Keighley, or from any other stockist without the emblem. Our uniform is a blue sweatshirt or cardigan, white polo shirt, grey trousers/skirt and sensible black shoes.

 

Winter:       Blue sweatshirts, jumpers or cardigan

                   White shirt, blouse or polo shirt

                   Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore

                   Sensible black shoes

 

Summer:   Blue/white checked dresses

                   White shirt, blouse or polo shirt

                   Grey shorts, trousers, pinafores or skirt

 

We ask that ALL items of clothing, including shoes, hats, coats etc are named.

 

Kit for P.E.

White top, black or royal blue shorts, black pumps, trainers for outside games and a named pump bag. Navy or black joggers or leggings and a navy or black hoodie or sweatshirt for outdoor PE lessons. 

 

Swimming (Year 5 pupils)

Children attending swimming lessons at the local leisure centre should wear the following;

  • Girls – a full piece costume
  • Boys – trunks / swimming shorts

All children should bring a towel.  All children are expected to take part in the swimming lesson unless a certified medical certificate is provided.  Any concerns should be discussed with the class teacher.

Jewellery

For health and safety reasons it is encouraged that pupils do not wear jewellery to school.  Should a pupil have pierced ears, plain studs should only be worn and in order to comply with health and safety regulations, these must be removed or covered with a plaster during all PE activities.  School cannot take any responsibility for any jewellery that is lost.
